Stripped background load
Unnecessary services and scheduled tasks are removed to cut running processes and free up memory.
A lighter, faster Windows — in four steps.
The Kimchi Playbook trims the unnecessary services, scheduled tasks and telemetry out of Windows, then tunes CPU, GPU, network and input latency so your games feel faster. Every change is a choice you make — and your original settings are backed up first.
The Kimchi Playbook is a set of focused, reversible changes to Windows. Nothing is hidden and nothing is forced.
Unnecessary services and scheduled tasks are removed to cut running processes and free up memory.
CPU, GPU, networking, timer resolution and input latency tuned for a snappier, more responsive feel.
Telemetry and unused features are trimmed so the system stays light and quiet in the background.
Each change is a question you answer during install. Nothing is applied without your approval.
Your original service values are backed up before anything changes, and the playbook is upgradable from any state. A restore point before install is still strongly recommended.
The Kimchi Playbook detects your hardware and applies sensible tuning automatically — no guesswork required.
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, printing and your peripherals are kept unless you explicitly choose otherwise.
A ToolBox dashboard to toggle every tweak, plus a high-resolution timer tool and a sleep-state checker.
The Kimchi Playbook makes real, deep changes to Windows. Here's what that means.
The Kimchi Playbook is a set of adjustments for AME Wizard. It's not a Windows ISO — it's a structured set of changes you apply to your existing Windows 10 or 11 install: services, scheduled tasks, telemetry, and performance tuning for gaming.
No. Those devices are not touched unless you explicitly choose to. The default path keeps them working, and every removal is an option you pick yourself.
Yes. Your original service values are backed up before changes are made, and the playbook is upgradable from any state. A restore point before install is still strongly recommended.
Yes. Some drivers and software may be downloaded as part of the process, so the machine must be online (and plugged in if it's a laptop).
It changes Windows deeply — services, registry, security mitigations and boot settings. Advanced options (removing Defender, disabling mitigations) are labelled as risky. Read every page before you answer, and use the playbook at your own risk.
The Kimchi Playbook is free for personal use. Commercial use, resale or redistribution for profit is not allowed. The source code for the bundled tools is licensed under the GNU GPL v3.0 or later.
